Delete your account
You can delete your RIRVana account, and everything we hold for it, from inside the app in three taps. If you no longer have the app, email us and we will do it for you. Either way the deletion is permanent.
01Delete from the app
This is the fastest route and it takes effect immediately. From the RIRVana app:
- Open the Profile tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm when the app asks. The action cannot be undone.
You are signed out as soon as the deletion completes, and your account and its data are gone from our server at that moment. There is no waiting period and no way to reactivate; starting again means creating a new account.
Deleting the app from your phone does not delete your account. It only removes what is stored on the device. Use the steps above first if you want the server-side data gone too.
02Request deletion by email
If you have already removed the app, cannot sign in, or would rather we did it, write to support@rirvana.pro from the email address on the account with the subject Delete my account.
We reply to confirm it is your account before deleting anything, and we delete it within 30 days of that confirmation, usually within a couple of days. We will tell you when it is done. If you signed in with Apple using Hide My Email, write from the relay address Apple created for RIRVana so we can match it.
The same address handles a request for a copy of your data or a correction to it. There is no charge for any of this.
03What gets deleted
Deletion is permanent and covers everything we hold against your account, not a subset of it. That is the whole of:
- Your account. The account record itself, the email address and display name your sign-in provider gave us, the link to that provider, and every active session.
- Training data. Workouts and their sets, programs and program days, workout templates, custom exercises, and the per-set numbers the camera derived: rep count, tempo, range of motion, effort estimate, and form flags. If you used the RIRVana Apple Watch app, the heart-rate recovery summary stored with each set goes with it, and so does any Capacity score stored with a workout.
- About you. Body weight and body fat measurements, including anything synced from Apple Health, plus training restrictions and equipment you declared.
- Tuning. Rep calibrations, calibration bundles, block assessments, queued program generation jobs, and every app setting stored under your account.
- Recordings. Any capture you chose to share with us, both the file and its record.
Video of your sets is processed on the phone and is not uploaded unless you explicitly share a capture, so in almost every case there is no footage on our side to delete. Clips and the local database on the phone go when you delete the app.
04What is not deleted
Two things survive, and neither identifies you:
- Error reports. The short, anonymous failure reports described in the privacy policy carry no workout data and are not tied to your account, so there is nothing in them to delete by account.
- Anything the law obliges us to keep. If a record is one we are legally required to retain, we keep that record alone, and only for as long as the obligation lasts. The app is free today and there is no billing history, so in practice this is empty.
05Questions
Anything unclear, or a deletion that did not go through, goes to support@rirvana.pro. What we collect in the first place is set out in the privacy policy.
